I feel like i know these boys like i know some of my friends...I've never actually met them...but I've gotten I guess you could say pretty close..eye contact between me and Nick has been made...I was the only one not screaming at the top of my lungs and he seemed happy with that...lol he hears enough of it as it was...I also noticed them in my local Wal-mart one night...a simple smile and wave like as if i saw one of my friends...again...Nick was the only one who noticed....Anyway...this album seemed like it had a little meaning to the fact of what kind of girl they would probably go for...mostly one who treats them as if they are regular teenage boys with a cool summer job....

All the songs have a little something in that sparks the mind and the heart...a little bit longer...the last track on the disk was Nick's self-written ballad about his Diebetes and it touches something special in my heart...it explains how nobody truely understands how he feels...and I feel around the same way...my dad is in and out of the house for weeks or months at a time, my friends and my mind are changing I really don't know who i am...finding myself so to speak...Nick dedicates the song at almost every live to people who are suffering from heartbreak...unknowingness...I don't think he realizes how much this song means to some people.

I love the rest of the album...it's a great thing and has a special meaning to me and a lot of other people...

I don't know.... I'll try

I don't know.... I'll try not to be rude, but- i really really hate them. there. i said it. their songs are truly awful (i'm sorry, but they really are). just another popstar only getting attention because of their looks. Thats pretty sad, if you ask me. Ask your self one question. Well, two. If you didn't know what they looked like or how old they are, would you like their music? Or what if they were horrendously ugly? And- one more, sorry, brain to fast for me fingers- If you didn't know A Little Bit Longer was about nicks diabetes, would you like it as much? Just think about it....

Very powerful statement

Very powerful statement Claudia...and I know you don't like them and I'm cool with that...I'm not like those girls who forces people into liking things that she just won't like. I don't really care about their looks honestly...that actually bothers me....I mean so many of the fans out there of these boys are totally into the looks and I like them as people. They have similar values and rules set in my family and know when to step out of the spotlight so I find them kind of like a friend i may never really meet....if that makes sense at all. Their music strikes a chord with me because it relates to a lot of things i've been through...even if i haven't been heartbreak but it still connects.

A Little Bit Longer doesn't have to be about nick's diabetes for me to be into it....It means quite a bit to me because I had an accident early this year where I was in and out of school for two weeks with something a professial said might be called prolong-qt....where my heart has a very very slow restart and could have pulled me out of soccer and a lot of other things I like to do...which all require me to be physically active....I'm ok...and i wasn't diognosed with it but it scared my family, my friends and me....I now have to watch how long i go with out drinking water...I have to eat a bit more salt....and I'm not really supposed to have caffiene. The song means a quite a bit to me even if it was just Nick writing.

So to answer those questions...with a simple answer....I would still like them if they didn't have good looks and I would still think they were cool if they were a different age.

Thanks for bravly voicing your opinion Claudia....I really like that kind of thing...especially when people aren't not being totally rude about it.

Thanks for not jumping on

Thanks for not jumping on me, max... I was worried about that one!

Alrighty- hardball time!

1- It doesn't make sense to me to think you know someone even if you only know them through interviews and gossip. I'm sorry, but being so obsessed with people seems unhealthy. I know you aren't a crazy fangirl or anything- but it still seems wrong.

2- isn't that the popstar motive? to write music that is true for everyone, that isn't different, that has been done over and over and over? Correct me if i'm wrong, and tell me if you find a song of theirs that hasn't been done before.

3- I sympathize with how you felt about nick's song... i'm sure that accident was really traumatizing. This kinda relates back to point #2, though....

4- i'm glad they have good morals (especially with the lohan's and miley's of the world), but I don't think thats a reason to like them as MUSICIANS.

I'm glad you're not rude, either. thank you for thinking about what i'm saying.

Claudia, any argument with

Claudia, any argument with your comment on it is always one I want to watch (well to be honest, I'll watch any argument, unless it gets unporoffesional and personal).  But I have to agree with Claudia (hey look, a SECOND agreement!), sorry Max.

But I think the Jonas Brother's music is very bad. Better than Miley Cirus anyway. (Miley, you have your room in ReHab waiting for you).  I'm sorry, but I don't like Pop that much... it kinda all sounds the same after awhile.  The fact they write their own music is good, but the music it's self is simply DREADFUL.

It also sounds like they are trying to write music for things they don't really understand.

Yeah, eh, I'll let Claudia take over from here.

lol, thanks.... What can I

lol, thanks.... What can I say, I have strong opinions! I totally agree- i try to make it easier to like them, (saying that, like you, at least they write their own music) but it really doesn't justify anything. I mean, the BEATLES wrote their own music! how is there a comparison?

I await you eagerly, Max and others.

Well...can't fight(can only

Well...can't fight(can only kinda agree) with either of you anymore...As Claudia said I'm no obsessed fan chick and i'm not going to camp out at a hotel to be able to meet Nick jonas. I love the Beatles...I don't think the Jonas brothers are anything like them what-so-ever...The Jonas Boys are they're own breed of music and let's just say...you either love them...like them...or hate their songs....lol.

I do agree writing from the heart is a popstar ploy and gets people crying and thinking about what's wrong with their life but they're are actually people who relate too it...that why other then Paramore, jonas Brothers, other punk, pop groups that are to a specific standard...I listen to country music...cause i relate better to it...A Little Bit Longer is just close to my heart...cause it's been pretty rough the past few years..monthes...weeks...days...and it just somes up my life at certain times in a nutshell.

Not that i agree with everything you say and i still like them and you aren't going to change that..and i know that's not your goal...lol let's just say one of my friends find you and Kazel insulting and a group of dream killers and I told her to suck it up.....She thinks she going to be Nick's next girlfriend....(rolls eyes) thanks for the great discussion.....It's cool to see your different views in a peaceful way...LOL we should get debates going more often...LOL

Yeah, I agree... I love

Yeah, I agree... I love these debates! I was kinda hoping for the jonas-look-lovers to be influenced though. Hopefully one of them will comment. About the second paragraph- I mean, they're "writing from the heart", but are they really? it seems to me like its "writing for the... money" more than anything else. I think thats part of disney's ploy- find a pretty face and do a show, make them sing... just churn out the money. I think i'd have more respect for the jonas brothers if they weren't with disney..

About your third paragraph- Dream killers? Psh.

About the debates- Check out the Debate Guild in writers block- you can read some of the past ones. its been at a standstill, since we haven't really found much to debate about. Maybe you can get us going!

Haha! don't listen to my

Haha! don't listen to my friend...she isn't really a friend anymore..she ticked cause i told her i agreed...in a way...now she won't talk to me...LOL I'll see what I can get going...

Yay!  I've finally achieved

Yay!  I've finally achieved my dream of being a "Dream Killer"!  Hah, just kidding!  Whatever.  I've had to argue around the Pop Lovers and others to justify my music.  I kinda gave that up a while, realizing we all have our prefrences (that doesn't mean I can't try to convert...).

But after awhile, all that "writing form the heart" gets bad.  It's all the same, like love that girl, girl doens't love me, etc. etc.  How about a nonsense song, or something that talks about the world around you?  Symbolism is pretty dang awesome too.

I know- lets try writing

I know- lets try writing about something that actually MATTERS. Not that love doesn't, but.... when you think about it, its kind of really quite narcissistic....
