in the City, riding a Paperwing dragon with Levi. Because he's my favorite person ever. EVER.
Yes. I could not be more aware that every book ever reviewed on KidPub is given a 5.
But Mockingjay was incredible. It's the conclusion to the Hunger Games trilogy. It came out two days ago.
Here's a tiny excerpt on the cover flap:
My name is Katniss Everdeen. Why am I not dead? I should be dead.
Now, it's quite hard for me not to say anything else (spoilers and whatnot), but I'll hold my tongue.
And to younger readers thinking about checking out this series, I would advise you not to. They are amazing books, but they include high levels of violence. Particularly Mockingjay. That's right, there's more violence than ever.
NOT TO MENTION...
We finally discover who wins her heart- Gale, or Peeta. Or perhaps someone else? DO GALE OR PEETA DIE?
I won't tell. Haha.
Anyway, thanks for listening to me ramble. So if you're a Hunger Games fan, go get the book.
No, seriously.
Go buy it.
NOW!

Well, I'm 11, but I've read Brisingr and stuff. Worse than that? Because it SOUNDS really good.

Hmm, I never read Brisingr. But here's a clip of Mockingjay, just so that you know the violence level: The snow's red, and littered with undersized body parts. Many of the children die immediately, but others lie in agony on the ground.
Oh God. That really was one of the most horrible, gruesome parts of the book, so it's a warning. It is very violent, but very rewarding too. Collins is an incredible writer, but in the grotesque, dystopian world she created... Well, there's just a lot of violence in it. And lots of romance. You might like it, but you also might enjoy it more in a year or so. I don't know. I read the first one when I was thirteen.

IDC (I don't care) I want to read it NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW! I actually have always thought that it lacked some really gruesome action anyways. And if it seems too scary, I'll just have to make it through nightmares and finish the series!

Imagination stays alive.
I'm reading it right now! my mum read the back and she hasn't even read catching fire yet! anyway, i am sad about a certain someones death . . . just like rue . . .
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
anyway, this is the awesomest series. i'd pick it over HP and Twilight anyday!
Have you seen the UK/Australian covers? They are cool. i like the US covers too. anyway, i heard the ending is fab for peeta fans. i bettercontinue reafding. We got it the day it came it (24th) although it's meant to come out on the 25th here. lol. But it's an awesome series,
Hope*~*Truth~*~LOVE*~*~* If you love popping bubblewrap put this in your sig. My magic bring Voldemort to the yard and i'm like that's hurting my scar.-- some group on facebook
I was bawling at the end. Even though I'm a Peeta fan. The whole book is just crazy sad. And I was crying over someone's death... Two someones... The most painful death's to read about... One is in the sewers, one by the mansion. SO SAD!!!!!!!!
And the covers... I quite like the German ones, and the UK ones are cool, although the US ones are my favorites because of the symbolism.
The first book is a mockingjay, a target forming around it. The second, the mockingjay (and the rebellion in the actual story) on the cover has become clearer, the target more definite. And the third, it is a full mockingjay, scattered remains of the target around the bird. 'Tis epic :)

people say the second cover is the mockingjay inside the second arena. you know, that's the shape it's in,
"Believe me, you really need to food into you." -- Adam "You wouldn't think that if you weren't so fat." -- Michelle "Hey! it's called Muscle." -- Adam. "fine. I'll go eat a all you can eat Taco buffet." -- Michelle (C.Y.B.O.R.G.) *~SpyFantasy~*
My friend at school bought it at Walmart yesterday and already finish it. I only have two bucks though...:(
