This is definitely a five star book!
This story is about a 10 year old girl named Annemarie Johansen who lives in Copenhagen during the time of Hitler. Her best friend Ellen Rosen is Jewish, so the Nazis (Germans) are looking for her and her parents. So it's up for the Johansens and the Resistance to save Ellen and her family. Will Ellen be found? Do any of the Resistance members die during the hard times? Will little Annemarie be brave enough to keep a secret from the Nazis?
Well, to answer your questions, read Number the Stars.
