I wish I could give this review 1,000 stars!! This book was amazing!
The Lightning Thief is about a twelve year old half-blood named Percy Jackson. After he gets attacked by his Math teacher Ms. Dodds, he starts to attend Camp Half-Blood--a summer camp for people who are half human and half god. Later on, the readers find out that he is the son of Poseidon, the Sea God. Then the readers find out that Zues's master lightning bolt has been stolen. Now it's up to Percy and his friends Annabeth and Grover to get it back!
I cannot wait for the movie!
I would deffinetly recommend this book for everyone. It's an action packed, funny book for kids and adults.
Go Percy!
Sincerly,
Nicole, THE Osprey of Empress

the movie was horrible. yet another fail from the guy who did the first harry potter movie. but you're right--the books were excellent. I've read the series maybe four or five times.
