Oh, my gosh, this film is so funny and dark and hilariously fresh...I LOVED IT! A brief plot explanation?

Annabelle Fritton is a shy girl who's father drops her off at the St. Trinian's all-girl boarding school. (This is the first one) As she describes the old, run-down school, "It's like Hogwarts for pyschos!" And it does seem like it, with it's faded walls, the suit of armor with it's arms pulled off, the goth girls at the window, the box at the entryway marked "Drop Off Inappropriate Objects Here"----and filled with guns, brass knuckles, and shrunken heads. If you look out the window, tractors are dragging girls by the rope, and the weird headmistress. And the girls do nothing to discourage this impression...the Head Girl, Kelly, is a scarlet-lipsticked, tightskirted, high-heeled girl with an attitude akin to a sadistic, female James Bond. And the rest of the girls, sorted into the official grouping:

The Chavs: The touchy, loud girls who yell at Annabelle.

The Posh Totties: The posh girls with perfect hair and nails, who hang around sipping martinis in feather boas.

The Geeks: The incredibly smart, obsessive girls.

The Emos: Goth, but prefer to be known as Emos, as in Emotionally Unstable. They dress in black and go to sleep in beds strongly resembling coffins.

The First Years: A hyper flock of 11-year olds.

The Sopranos: A sub-category of First Years, a pair of braided Twins with sunglasses and white cats, who are genius, evil, and spunky (if they were real, they'd be my best friends).

To give you a sample of their personality, they make bets on how long Annabelle will last, cover her with sticky gunk, and break a downy pillow on her. When she is in the shower, they take her clothes, film how she reacts, and posts it on YouTube. Can you say evil? But when Annabelle finally begins to love the school, she is dismayed by a sad truth: Due to debts, St. Trinian is about to close down. The girls set out on a devious little plot to save their school, in a hilarious ride full of ingenious, devious girls! I loved it!

Note: This was rated PG-13, and for a good reason. The girls walk around in really mini miniskirts, and the uniforms are pretty non-uniform. There's no gore, but the girls smoke, drink martinis, and gamble. The First Years run an illegal Vodka business! And they say "pi**"
