Chapter 7 Queen Harriet
by Becca M.

The tall woman with the pretty dress was the queen. Mrs. Hofman folded her hands together and sat up straight. "Was there something you needed me for? Something more important than trying to help Hallinia?" the queen said angrily. She was angry we had disturbed her work. "Well, I don't know your majesty. You must talk to these girls" said Mrs. Hofman. After Mrs. Hofman and the girls talked, the queen realized that the rock that she had was theirs and not just a precious gift from her Aunt Sally. The queen had turned the rock into a necklace. She returned with the rock and she put it around Sarah's neck. "Now get yourself out of here and please don't disturb me again" the queen said. They left with a thank you and a rock around Sarah's neck. "I guess I must say good-bye now," said Mrs. Hofman with tears in her eyes. The girls hugged Mrs. Hofman and said good-bye until they disappeared in the forest. They reached a door with a doorknob and a lock. Marisa twisted the doorknob, but it did not open. "The rock must be the key. Why don't you try it" said Marisa. Sarah put the rock in the slot and the door opened. When they walked through the door, there were Sarah's parents and in 2 seconds Marisa and Sarah were gathering wood for a fire. They enjoyed a nice fire together and did not share one word about Halinia. It was their secret! THE END
