Dear Future Student,

  It’s the summer of 2009 right now. When you read this I will be an adult. But the reason I wrote this letter is because I want to tell you about the environment.

Right now people litter and they don’t recycle. Animals from all over are dying because people throw their garbage in the ocean and the forest. There is too much pollution in the air. One thing you can do is carpool instead of one person for each car. You can also ride a bike. Another thing you can do is walk.

I am going to write a list of things you can do to help save the planet.

·        Carpool

·        Reduce, reuse, and recycle

·        Ride your bike

·        Walk

·        DO NOT LITTER!

So I hope you know that you should not litter or the earth will look like garbage.
