haley and the haunted house

It was Halloween and Haley was walking through the park. Haley was 18 years old with blue eyes that sparkled in the shiny bright sun. Her eyes looked lovely, like they were from a doll. Her mouth looked glossy. Haley’s hair was darkish red and curly. She took everything seriously. She liked wearing black and white clothes. Haley did not think she was a little girl anymore. She wanted to do something more interesting, something that grabbed her attention. There was silence for a moment. ’’I have an idea. Explore haunted houses!” Haley whispered in order to keep her idea a secret. Haley was really, really, really sure about her decision. Haley took a big breath before going in the haunted house. She went in. Creek! Thud! Haley jumped up when the door closed. Haley started seeing shadows. She looked back but nothing was there. BUM BUM, her heart started beating. Haley started hearing little children laughing. She followed the giggles. The giggles stopped at a dark room. Haley heard heavy footsteps THUD THUD. The heavy footsteps came closer and closer and each time closer. “Is anybody there? I don’t like these kind of tricks.’’ Haley started seeing shadows. She felt the presence of someone behind her. Haley thought it was her imagination so she did not look back. CLICK CLICK, the lights flickered off. Haley’s heart started beating. Haley ran as fast as she could. She was going to get out of the door but she remembered that the door was locked. Haley stood quietly staring at the window. “I have an idea’’ shouted Haley. Haley ran to the window. She ducked her head, pulled her legs and jumped out of the window. ‘’Finally ‘’Haley shouted. Haley got on her bike and went back home. “Where were you?’’ asked her mother. ‘’Exploring.’’ Said Haley. ‘’Exploring what?’’ asked her mother ‘’I can’t tell.’’ Haley said. ‘’but I can’t wait until my next Halloween!” It was Halloween and Haley was walking through the park.
