The Mermaids and the Sleepover
by Mariah Villapudua

Once upon a time there were three sisters but not just normal sisters they were mermaids. The oldest sister’s name was Luanne, the middle sister’s name was lira, and the baby sister’s name was Lilly. The three mermaids were pretty and thoughtful. They were going to perform a concert for a little girl’s birthday party. When they were just about to go on stage, a storm started. All of the other little girl mermaids were scared. They swam very fast in to the house. The birthday girl was sad. She locked the door to her room and started crying. She thought her party was ruined! Just then she heard music coming from the other room. She came out and saw the mermaids were performing a dance in the other room. She was surprised because she thought her party was ruined. She said, “You did this for me?” Then the mermaids said, “If you want to come on stage and help us perform, you can.” She said, “Of course. I’d love to!” At the end of the performance the little girl was so happy she said, “The big mermaids can spend the night at my sleep over too.” They spent the whole night giggling and having tons of fun.
