A Typical Monday

The sound of a voice,

Interrupting my sleep,

It’s Mom.

Eyes open,

Brush teeth,

Get dressed,

Prepare breakfast.

Wake up Dad,

Eat eggs,

Wait for Dad,

I doze off.

Climb into car,

Tell Dad to go faster,

Enter school.

Take out my homework,

Do Gator Challenge,

It’s lunchtime.

I purchase doubles,

Eat.

Go to special,

Bell rings.

Walk to After Care,

Do homework,

Play at recess,

Leave at 5:50,

Go to Writing Matters,

Dinner time.

Sleep,

Dream.

Here it goes again!
