What Matters To Me

By Jeffrey Shin

What matters to me is my kind, pretty Mom.  She prepares delicious meals for the whole family.  Sometimes, my Mom helps me with my homework.

What matters to me is my family vacation to Sea World.  Watching Shamu, you can get soaked from his huge tail.

What matters to me is learning to play the piano.  Although I dislike practicing, when I get older, I know I’ll be proud that I learned it.

What matters to me is remembering Korea and sledding and skiing in the crisp, chilly snow.

What matters to me is my brave Dad.  I think my Dad is brave because he protects my family.  Especially when I am scared, my super Dad is always there.

What matters to me is going skiing in fake snow in Atlanta.  My friends and I zoomed down the slope and went up the ski escalator.

What matters to me is that I am me.
