Red is Rudolph’s shiny nose,
Santa Claus’ clothes,
And a beautiful ruby.
Red is a petite rose bud,
Red is oozing dark blood.
A delightful strawberry,
A juicy cherry lollipop,
Thick ketchup.
Red is the British coat in the Boston Tea Party,
The exotic hair of Matthew Bernardi.
Red is spicy Tabasco,
My heart pounding like a fiasco.
Red is a Valentine’s card.
Red is the symbol of love,
The Angels calling from above.
