No. Twilight is a mushy, not-meant-to-be romance. I would have enjoyed it more if Edward was stalking her and trying to eat her, and Jacob were constantly trying to eat her, too, and Bella would be all like ninja-secret agent, not-takin'-no-nonsense-from-no-one and eventually ended up beating them up in the end. ^_^
I also have about a million suggestions for Lois Duncan's Ransom, Obert Skye's Leven Thumps series, the Inkheart trilogy, and a bunch of other ones. -_-

I was talking, or rather, spamming about something on the Charbretta thread... XD
