So, what did you intend to receive out of the Kidpubbers' responses? Just wondering. I don't know what else to, you know, say...
Oh, here's a cool question: How does your religion benefit (or NOT benefit) your life? How or how not?

I just wanted to see what everyone's views are on that. Is that like a big crime or something?

It makes me feel better...it makes me feel like there's always, always going to be someone out there. It gives me something to believe in and...I don't know. Sometimes, when I'm crying or I'm upset and I feel like there's nothing left, it's like...it's really hard to explain, but it's like I feel God, and I just calm down. I can't help it.

It benefits my life, definitely. It helps me try to see the good in other people. And it helps me look forward to the future, trust in God, and keep going when I don't think I can. When I really need something urgently right then (I've lost something, or I didn't study for a test or something), I can ask God for help. By trying to live the way God would want, I think I'm becoming a better person.

Here's a hypothetical question (That means no answer is required):
Does anyone really know what God wants?
I mean just think about it. There are so many religions and so many different things to believe, but is any one religion the absolute truth? And if so, how do we know which one is?
This is all hypothetical. Not trying to start a fight or anything. It's just something to think about.

Actually it's not called a hypothetical question, it's a rhetorical question.
Sorry if you don't like being corrected - I'm like this when it comes to errors. Can't stand them.

No, I don't believe it's a crime. I just wanted to know. Hey, some people answered my question! I feel so special.

I know; and people with religion, just think about it (yes, that means you guys vouching for Jesus, or Mohammed, etc). All religions say that they are the ONE religion. A lot of the religions say that if you are not a follower of it, you will go to hell. Doesn't it seem kind of foolish for a huge percentage of religions to say this? It kind of makes you doubt if there even is a higher power, if God is just some type of made-up thing, meant to 'protect' us from the things we didn't know back in the day. Well, science has ruled out a lot of religion. We now have a very possible theory on how the Earth was created, and how humans evolved into what they are today.
I feel that many religions contradict themselves, and have multiple flaws.
