Flame watched in horror as the creature attemped to pin Wolf to the torture bench. "No!" she gasped. She fought the creature holding her. "Silent! You can't do this!" she cried desprately. "He did nothing to you! Why are you being so cruel!?"

Wolf paused, horrorstruck, as he stared at the torture bench Si had asked him to lay on. He couldn't stand still very long, though. The creature that had him in his grasp was much stronger than he was, and apparently, very anxious. The monster pushed Wolf forward, knocking him out of his trance.

Wolf began to fight, determined not to willingly give himself to torture.

"Si," he growled. "Let Flame and the other fairy go. They don't mean anything to you."

Flame looked as if she wanted to protest, but Wolf interrupted her.

"Flame didn't steal me!" Wolf shouted. "I remembered her! It's not her fault, don't blame her for something I did! Just let her go!"
