Talking with other players is pretty easy in KidMud. Here are the basic commands:

Says something to everyone in the room.
"Hello
Everyone sees: Wizard says, Hello
:
Non-verbal
:smiles
Everyone sees: Wizard smiles
::
Same as above, but no space after your name.
::'s hat falls off
Everyone sees: Wizard's hat falls off
