Philospy Slam for Kids

This is a really good contest for kids from 3-8th grades. What you do is you answer a question with artwork, paint, or a 500 word or less essay for 3-5th graders or prose, poetry, song or musical comosition, or an essay of 500 words of less for 6-8th graders. The question this year is "IS THE PEN MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD?"  The only catch is that your school needs to register for it. It's 19$ per child and the school should pay for it. My school is. You should talk your school into doing it if you're interseted.
