New Editor

You now may use the TinyMCE editor to type in your stories and comments. The editor lets you control things like font size, color, and style, and lets you embed images and links into your story. For example, you can put a YouTube video directly into your story by clicking on the MEDIA button in the editor (it looks like a little piece of film). This kind of editing is called WYSIWYG (pronounced wizzy-wig, it stands for What You See Is What You Get).

You can turn off the WYSIWYG editor by clicking on the Switch to Plain Editor link below the text area. You can also change which editor you want to use...plain or WYSIWYG, by clicking My Account on the left-hand menu, then the Edit tab, then TinyMCE rich-text settings.

The WSIWYG editor has a lot of features, so play around with it and explore. You can click the PREVIEW button (to the left of the little binoculars) to see whatyour post will look like. We'll collect common questions and make a little FAQ for the editor. If for some reason it doesn't work for you, you can always stick with the original plain editor.
