in Georgia
Two stars, each one shines real bright
Each one is there to guide me in the darkness of the night
Two stars, each one just as unique
Each one is there to listen when I need to speak
Two cookies, each one just as sweet
Either one is there, looking good enough to eat
Two cookies, each one has that special taste
I guess I’ll have to eat both of them, wouldn’t want them to go to waste.
Two hands, offering to take mine
Well I have two hands too; I can take both at a time
Two hands, each tugging me different ways
I feel like an actress in two different plays
Two mouths, each wanting a kiss
Each one just as sweet, each one such bliss
Two mouths, each whispering in my ear
Each one whispering sweet nothings that are dear
Can’t they see I can’t have two?
I have to choose just one
This is a terrible decision
And it isn’t any fun
Can’t they see what they both mean to me?
I have to choose someone and set the other free.
It’s too hard too choose, I’ll wait just one more day
To see which one cares the most and what he has to say
