"Riki?Rik,you ok?"I said.She opened her eyes and for a moment there,she blinked.She looked at me and glared at me.Again.O well.She shouldve been looking where she was going.
"Whats wrong with you,Reggie?!You could`ve hurt her!"said Smoothy,one of Riki`s wanna bes.Her real name isnt Smoothy.Its Reggina,just like mine.But she thought it was an insult to have the same name as a so called jocky.
"Well,Strawberry Smoothy,she shouldve been looking where she was going and also where the ball was going instead of talking on her dumb cell!"I proclaimed.
"Hey,hey,c`mon,guys,dont fight over it.It was an accident."Ryan said.
"Yeah,what Ryan said,"Riki said,smileing and walking over to Ryan.Ryan slowly moved away from her.It was so sad.Hitting on someone who she likes who might like me.
It was 2nd period now and i had Riki in my class.Ew,math.As much as im good at it,i cant stand the thought of doing math.
"Ok,class,settle down."Ms.McMickel said.She said it as if we have been in her class for 3 yrs.
"Today,we will be setting you next to your buddy for the entire year.First pair will be.......Riki with Reggina or Smoothy.Which ever she prefers."
She scared me for a minute.I actually thought she was talking about me for a secound.
"The next pair is Reggie with Ryan."Ms.McMickel said over the loud class.
I almost jumped for joy.Once more,Ryan will be with me for something.First our lockers and now this amazing thing is happening to me.I glanced over at Ryan who seemed to be smiling at me.I smileed back.Unfortunantly,Riki saw us and sat right between us.I glared at her.
"Oops,am i in your way?"Riki said with a vile grin spreading across her face.Then she turned to smile at Ryan,hoping he would smile at her.Luckily,he didnt.He just turned around and began watching what Ms.McMickel was writing on the chalk board.
I turned smiling inside my head.Jeez,you would think the girl would get a life.Just because she`s rich and the head cheerleader of the cheerleading squad gives her no right to think she is better than anyone else.Or does it?
