Ballerina--Ch.1

My dancing career started the way every other little girl starts. I was in a ballet class, after school when I was in kindergarden. And I still remember it fairly well. I remember my mom telling me, "Honey! I signed you up for ballet class!"
The funny thing is, I replied, "Mooooooooom! Do I HAVE'ta?"
I had no idea what this was going to lead to. I'm really glad my mom pushed me into it. If she hadn't, I wouldn't be the ballerina I am today I would probably be a baseball player. Really. When I was in kindergarden, I loved baseball. Actually, I still do, but do I ever get a chance to play it? Noooooo. I'm a ballerina. Who would think to play BASEBALL with me?
Anyway, for the whole kindergarden year, I took ballet classes. And I HATED them. H-A-T-E. Now, I can't believe I didn't like them. But I didn't.
So, anyway, there I am. In ballet class. All my friends are outside playing baseball. The only good thing is getting to goof off with my new friend, Kathrine Langly.Needless to say, my ballet teacher didn't like Kathrine and I, Jamie. So much so, that we actually got KICKED OUT of ballet class, close to the end of the year. My mother was furious, and I never got to see Kathrine again, since she went to a diffrent school then me, and I didn't know where she lived.

And that was the beginning of my ballet career. Getting kicked out of ballet class. Don't beleive me? Just look in my mom's diary. She must have filled up ten hundred pages about her dissapointment in me. Oh, well. I was in kindergarden, and nothing counts in kindergarden, right?
