I didn't say anything to Nicole. Hoping that she would be surprised when I showed up at his house on at the same day, but instead I just smiled and walked away. That week was perfect except for a little thought popping out at the most unconvienint times, "Why woule he ask her over when I posotivly know that he likes me?". Though at times that thought could be annoying every other moment I was blissfully happy.
That week had gone by fast and finnaly on the 24th I walked home from school. I got to my house and dropped my books onto my bed. I stopped to pat my hair down and put just a smidge of blush onto my already rosy cheeks, then I smiled in satisfaction at myself. Walking out of my room I heard a door open at Brad's house next door and through my window I could see Nicole going into his house. I ran into the hallway and jumped down most of the stairs, I dashed out the door and down the walkway and finnaly stopping at Brad's front door I caught my breath and paused to ring the doorbell. He opened the heavy oak door and smiled. I smiled back. Going to twirl my hair I noticed that in my excitment My hair was terribly messed up and my blush has smudged all over my face, making me look like a clown.
