I was panting uncontroably as I came to the top. The view was amazing and..oops..your here..well let me start from the beggining.
The car pulled up to a halt in front of a HUGE mountain and I got out. I gazed at the trees and the path in front of me and I smiled. It was going a good hike. I slung my pack over one shoulder and my brother and dad got out of the car too. We began hiking up a path when I relized that my purse was going to get into the way so I ran back to the car and put it back.
Once again we were off. It had been awhile since we had gone to Mount Mible so my dad decided that we go on the beginners trail that lead to a castle on top of the mountain. So we began. We hiked for about 5 minutes when my father spotted a cave up a little ways upon a cliff. My brother and I were eager to see it so we climbed the slate and rock just to find that it was only an indent made by some rocks.
About 2 minutes later, after a water break and unzipping my bookbag for about the millionth time, we came to another set of rocks and slate. It looked perfect for climbing and right at the top you could see a little trail so my brother and I went up. It didnt take me long to climb the slate, after finding I could climb like a lizard. My dad came up when my brother found a faint trail under some brush. Now, thinking about it for a moment, we thought that it was just another trail. But soon the incline became almost unbearable as we up and up. Little did we know when we had crossed the markings of the extreme trail that we had thought we were on we werent on a trail at all.
I climbed the piece of slate and looked out. I could see the small town of Berrysburg and farther out the ocean. We took a break and got some water. I smiled though I was terrified and soon ended the break and the expedtion on. We soon came to the extreme trail that lead us up onto some craggy rocks. There was one rock with all of the names of the people whom had gone on the advanced trail. So we addev ours too it. Along with the saying "I did it". I looked out and saw a couple of towns, the ocean, and of course the bottom of the mountain. It was the worst nightmare but then again it was wonderful.*
