A Loss like no other

I smiled at her but she just kept working. She ignored me and pretended that she didnt notice that I was there. "Maybe" I thought to myself "She doesnt notice me". But I soon found out how wrong I would be...

Here is the life of Melany Captor... a girl who used to be my best friend but then turned over another leaf just to save herself. She pretended that I wasnt even a person anymore. She pretended that I was just someone that she decided was a part of her past. And that I soon became.

Now I know what trouble happened in her young life. I forgive her to this day...every day...until the time may come when she accepts it.

(This is not a true story. Any events that occur in this story are just figments of my imagination. There is no such person as Melany and I am not writing aobut an actual person and her life.)

I dedicate this story to all parents who have lost children to kidnappers.
