Once there was a boy named Robert who was always scared of the water with a monster. One day his mother told him that he would be going to a seven-day camp where lots of people tried to go there but ran back to their homes because they were scared of the monster. He decided to go so he could find out whether it was a dangerous adventure or not. He had to go through the woods and through the water that had the monster inside it.
Just when he was about to cross the water, the monster came out. He had to be brave, so he just kept taking steps across the water and finally he was surprised how he had made it through the water. After he crossed the last trees in the woods, he tripped on a tree branch. The tree branch reminded him that he was at the woods, so he suddenly realized that the monster might be the tree’s shadow. He went back to investigate and he found out that the monster was exactly the same thing he thought, a tree’s shadow. He was very relived. After that, he quickly ran to the camp and had lots fun there.
After two days of camp, he decided that to make people stop being scared of the monster in the water (tree shadow). He made a sign to tell people what the monster really was. At the end of camp, he stayed in camp a few more hours to make a flag. Then he went to the water and put his sign right on the edge of the shore.
He went home and actually saw an article about him in the newspaper! His mother was very proud of him.
