in a state of constant wonder

Wild waves
topped with foam
seaweed floating in th water
sandcastles scattered around
the sandy shore
an orange-pink horizon
a white sailboat
dolphins jumping
jellyfish eating a fishy dinner
people packing up to leave
for the river homes
maybe to go fishing
or show off their dives
be careful of jellies
don't fall in
maybe they will cuddle up
and watch a late night movie
with popcorn
or play a game of cards
while the children
are sitting on the dock
But I--
I think I will stay
and watch the
full moon rise
and reflect itself
upon the foam topped
waves of
beautiful
Orange beach.
