Wackyville School Part 8

"C'mon everybody! Outside!" sang Miss Frizz. They twirled down the spiral staircase. "Nearly forgot!" exclaimed Miss Frizz "behind this door is a new student, just in time for the school trip!"

When they steped outside there was a girl she looked very gothic a chalk white face green eyes black hair and a dress with skulls on it. She was carrying a plastic (or was it real!) skull.

"Come on Roscoe help me with the wopsydoodle elephants, they just don't want to go in the space ship! The rest of you meet Matilda!" Matilda stood at the bottom of the stair case, looking lonely. Mel felt sorry for her. She knew how worrying it was on your first day if you didn't know anyone. Valentino took Matilda very quickly "My name is Valentino, Babe" he said "But you can call me Vally!" Valentino is a really wierd boy who thinks he's romantic and loves every girl especially poor Matilda.

"Get in the ship!" cried Ms Frizz excitedly, "And prepare yourselves, its gonna be a bumpy ride, wahoo!"
"Hey who are they!" exclaimed Emily, pointing to two cool looking people. They both had spotty tops and baggy trousers with lots of pockets. They also had a bit of fringe that covered half their face. "Meet Kim and Tim!" exclaimed Ms. Frizz, "Our even newer students!"
"Oh look, Refreshments!" cried Gobble, plodding over to the ship's kitchen. Suddenly the ship soared up through the sky and almost at once they could see stars and planets out of the windows. All of a sudden there was a great thump. "We've landed" screeched Ms. Frizz "Now take off your heavy boots and I'll come round and give you a tame puffler-puff."
"What on earth?" said Mel and Matilda together.
"A better expression" corrected Ms Frizz "Would be what in space!" and she laughed shrilly "Now the purple puffler-puffs are the babys, thw blue ones are older boys and the pink ones are older girls! Now get into pairs and I'll give each pair a puffler-puff. Now Mel and Matilda, you get the baby, sorry it's the only baby one"

When all the partners had a small, fluffy puffler-puff, Ms Frizz exclaimed that they had to put harnesses on them so they wouldn't float into space. "Well how on earth, I mean space do we get the harness on them, they just slip out." said Matilda exaustedly.

But eventually they did. Ms Frizz and Roscoe's puffler-puff nearly flew off but luckily Ms Frizz caught it with her net. (One of the pair had a net just in case the puffler-puff managed to escape and the other had to try and stuff it into a harness).

When everyone had sucessfully put their puffler-puff in a harness, they stepped outside on the moon to give them a 'fly'. "Excuse me Miss" said Matilda "why did you bring the wopsie doodle elephants?"
"Well!" shreaked Ms Frizz "they like floating around in the space ship!"
"But Ms Frizz" questioned Mel "they can fly anyway can't they?"
