Riley wasn't a particularly impressive beagle, in fact even for a beagle he was ... well not real inspiring, he sleeps most of the day. Usually sneeks onto a bed when no one is looking, he barely has enough ambition to breath on his own. He does have a keen sense of hearing and the only thing that wakes him up is the sound of the refrigerator opening.
Riley has however developed a keen imagination, in his dreams he goes on fantastic adventures, his bravery is unsurpassed even among lions and tigers and bears.
One time while he was sleeping the wind blew through an open window and knocked a book onto the floor. In Rileys mind a gang of would be robbers were knocking at the door, then they pushed and kicked the door until it came open, they were a motly crew seasoned and hardened criminals but never had they met such a nobel and valient protector of home and family as Riley. Riley quitely crept down the stairs he peered around the corner counting his foes. One, two, three, four he counted, the first walked into the kitchen to grab the silverwear the other three headed into the study. Riley crept into the Kitchen quietly sneeking up on the villian, he then he sank his teeth right into his back side. The burglar jumped and ran out the door with Riley firmly attached.
Then Riley came back into the house and put on a small red cape and dark glasses as super dogs are known to do he was just about ready to spring into action when he heard....
Riley get off that bed ohhh must have been dosing again.
