Carlotch and Garotose fell...fell, deeply into the fire-pit. They knocked themselves hard into the rocks of the hole. Blood filled Carlotche's nose. Garotose had a few bones broken. They were dropping, still. They tried thrusting their sabers into the rock, and climbing their way up, but the rock was as soft as powder to a saber. Still, they fell. Carlotch could begin to feel the heat. Now the heat was burning acroos Carlotche's neck. Carlotch looked. Below him, raging fire opened up. "So there's the fire"! exclaimed Garotose frantically. A worm-like creature emrged from the flames, and with one breath, wiped away the flames. Carlotch forced his body to do a backflip, onto the beasts side. Garotose fell. "No" yelped Carlotch as he watched Garotose fall, from the beasts side. "The Journeys up to you nooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" yelled Garotose as he fell. "Don't worry" the beast said slowly. "Dont worry, who do you think you are" said Carlotch. "I can save him" said the beast, and with that he burst with speed and picked Garotose up. "All is lost if we can't get out" said Garotose. "Don't worry" said Carlotch "This beast will show us the way out". "Hmm" said the beast as he kept falling. "Where are you taking us"? asked Carlotch. "To the den"! spat the beast nastily. "Why to the den"? asked Carlotch. "Why- for breakfast of course" said the beast. "Oh no" whispered Carlotch. The beast came to an ubrupt stop infront of a rock-wall. "CCondurmoe" said the beast. the rock wall opened to reveal a large pit of beasts. "Hiss-Hiss" said a snake-looking beast. The beast threw Carlotch and Garotose down into the pit. But luckily they hung on to the beast slimy waste. "Why didn't you just let us burn"? asked Carlotch as he struggled to hang on. "Because" the beast saidslowly, "We don't like burnt meat". "Why'd you not let me fall"? asked Garotose. "O' because two is better then one if your going to feed a pack" said the beast. "We are on an important mission to keep this world from dieing" said Carlotch. With one movement the beast knocked the two wwizards off into the open pit. An ogre came and grabbed the two wizards. "I'll go with them" it said.
