I was out at the football park by Oquar hills middle-school, for football
try-outs, and I was feeling quite down, becuase every sport every sport I played seemed not right for me, because every team I was on always lost. We started with stretches. They felt good in the brisk morning air. Push-ups!. Now football isn't like you think it is, with coaches yelling at you, saying "drop down give me twenty boy"! Coaches are real nice. I was the fastest runner out there. I was accepted onto the riverton silverwolves, purple team coached by Kent Allred. I made some friends like, William Cutler who was my center. And Cordon (we call e'm Cord) Fisher who's the Runningback (best there ever was!) and my lining back (Really good in backing me up).
FIRST GAME
BINGHAM VRS RIVERTON
I was reserved as a second defenseive end (but not for long). We held them very long. They couldn't get through us. Then Taylor Mortensen, (our defensive end) broke up and guys started getting through. I was called to get in there. On the very first play (that I was in) I threw the tight end down and went for a tackle on the runningback. This went on for three or four playes. At five minutes before the end of the game, we could of had them. but five secinds before the game was over, they broke through the middle for a one touchdown win. So they won 7 to 0. At least we held e'm.
I got nominated 1 defensive end. We all went to eatza pizza to celebrate.
SECOND GAME
ALTA RIVERTON
We had our hopes down about winning, I mean Alta usually wins the championship and we have lost our first game. I was put in first becuase I was the best defensive end. I made a lot of tackles but not as much. Alta was just too quick. They creamed us. Cord wasn't doing well. Niether was I. We lost 46-0. My mom cheered me up. At least they didn't get 100 points.
THIRD GAME
BINGHAM RIVERTON
We had our hopes way up. I mean we held Bingham last time. we can beat e'm now. We we appeared that we had our heads in the clowds. We were trying our hardest but we were playing our weakest. There is not much to this game except Bingham creaming us.
They won 97-0
FOURTH GAME
SOUTH JORDAN RIVERTON
We were all worried about last game. Cord made a score though. we didn't entirely lose. But they won. Now we kick butt.
the coach gave us prep talk. "Gotta win the rest of our games ta make it to da play offs". We all had our hopes out of ever making the play-offs.
FIFTH GAME
JORDAN RIVERTON
I went out. I did very badly this game. Cord did good. Offense blocked the line and Cord got through. One time was really close. Cord barely got through to the touchdown.
