PAL LIVED
true story
Chapter 1
How I got him
I can't remember the people's names, but we went to a little house
Somewhere (I can't remember where). These people had too many dogs and were going to get rid of them. My brother picked The big dog of the pack (later known as Tobee) . I picked the runt (later to be known as the incredible pal). I picked up the runt and from then on the bond was always strong between me and my dog. Every day I went back to see her. She pickd a spot in my coat behind my neck where she always was. Later we got Pal Tobee and rontoo (ron-two). Pal had a slim chamce of living because of a whole in her heart. Pal struggled. She was a dog that wouldn't give up no matter the odds against her. There were many doubts that she would live. She wouldn't let that bother her. She struggled long and hard many times. She finally came through.
CHAPTER 2
Our happy life
Pal and me were great pals. We always had a bond. A strong bond. Pal for some reason didn't like to be picked up and hugged and petted alot. That is except for me. She always pcrawled up and let me put her in my coat hood where she would rest. Me and Pal had great years.
CHAPTER 3
Pal's fame
To me, Pal was always the best thing ever. She was my silent best friend man could have. I was so proud of her that a showed her to my preschool class. She struggled hard and long to live a life with humans. Now humans abuse animals as much as people love them. Pal had courage to live a life with humans. For that she should get a gold medal alone.
CHAPTER 4
My heartbreak
My silent friend was always cheering me up. Even as a grew older, I had her as a great and wonderfull friend. She was the most brave dog ever to walk earth. For you see Pal had a whole in her heart and she struggled and fought to hold on... She wouldn't let go. One day it happened, my heartbrake. After pre-school I came home and my mom called Tobee in. "Won't pal like to come inside too"? I asked. "James I have something to tell you" replied my mother. "Pal is gone, I took her to the pound when the nieghbors complained about her barking. "No you-your joking" I said. "I'm not" said my mom. A tear started in my eye. Actually lot's of tears. I had lost my silent friend my true meant-to-be pet. The one and only totally perfect thing in the world. "Dad said not to tell you before you got home" said my mother. A tear was in her eye now. Even though there was a super bond between me and Pal, everyone hated to get rid of her. "It was wrong" said Mother. It is years later and now I'm sitting at my computer writing this story so all can know about the one and only incredible and brave...Pal. Goodbye Pal. My silent friend, Thank you for those days. Goodbye. AS you see, he lived for me. A 4 year old with a love of animals. Despite a 4-year old being just a kid and a stranger, Pal loved me she knew she was going to live for me. She knew I needed her. A 4-year old needed a runt just like a runt needs a friend. Goodbye Pal and I hope I see you again.
