Story Suggestions.

Sigh. It has come time for me to write one of these.

First of all, this is a "Story Suggestion" as the above title kindly advertises, and so you can choose to go by any or none of this, according to what works for you, but I will give you some tips to get your foot out the door.

This first one starts with an opinion, backed up by friendly adults on www.writers.com. If you are going to write a story, built up a vocabulary that fits with the story, and punctuate correctly. It is certainly fine, if it fits the author's cup of tea, to use words that do not fit appropriately, but it greatly aggrivates readers. For example:
Correct Flow And Feel for This Story.

There was a road, in early Japan, that was odd in nature. The reader must not get me wrong by thinking that this road was an unslightly one, for it was not at all abnormal in the physical aspect of sight, rather, it was odd in its facts. You see, this road was built for the magistrates comfortable usage, tiled, sleek, and furnished, it's metallic feel glowed and offered a pleasant contrast to the wooden dojo's and hut's that aligned the province's cluttered streets, but it had never, for some reason, been used.

Correct Flow And Feel For The Story
"Ya' I reckon wee'z bee' fewed, Fredey!"
Fred, a comely man, spit his tobaccee' out on the dirty waste floor, and then moved to kick the cowardly prisoner, I recall.
"Yuz, Brade, I z'ink so."

Incorrect Flow And Feel For The Story

Dude, there was a big, huge lolol road in the westside of Japan, yeah get it? And like, it aint ever been used, dawg.

Incorrect Flow And Feel for the Story.

"I think that we have been fooled, shall you answer, Fred?"
I now remember that Fred spat on the dirty, waste floor of the desertic regions, and made a move as if to kick this poor little rascal.

You see? Vocabulary depends on the story your trying to tell, and the personalities of the characters.

The next thing I wish to talk about is the length of a story. The length of a story, widely depends on what you are trying to tell. Do not make a story, that could be summed up in three paragraphs, a thirty-two part book, and the same goes for the opposing side of the deal, do not make something that needs thirty-two parts, three paragraphs.
