Okay, this is real-life, if you want to know. I just wanted to make sure you understood that part. THIS IS REAL LIFE! IT'S ACTUALLY TRUE! Here it goes:
SCENE 1
Monday (first bell of the day just rang, we're all in the classroom):
JARED: Ahhh, Ms. Nielson, I forgot to do my homework again!
MS. NIELSON: Jared, I thought I told you all yesterday that if you didn't do page. 86
in Math, you would get a detention. (moves towards chalkboard to write down Jared's name
under; DETENTION LIST.
(IN BACKGROUND: Selina kicking Joe in the shins, me and Ellen giggling about some book,
Andy teasing me about having Aaron Carter pictures in my locker, AJ telling Patrick a reeally nasty joke about three ogres and a rabbit, Christy leaning over to tell Tia a secret-)
MS. NIELSON: Be quiet! Take out your Spelling books and turn-PATRICK!! (um, she didn't really say to turn to THAT ugly page) Sit down! No going up to your cubbies while class is in session.
PATRICK: Ahhh, c'mon. (looks sulky and throws himself in his chair.)
(BACKGROUND MUSIC: Joe is now kicking Selina in the shins, Ellen is chewing out Patrick, I'm throwing a tattoo stick to Andre who sits on the other end of the room, AJ goody-goody trying to do his Spelling in peace.)
SCENE 2
We're in fifth period, Math:
SELINA: Miss, I don't understand this decimal word problem!
CHRISTY: Me too!
TIA: Me second!
ELLEN (REALLY SMART KID): I'll help you.
CODY: I have to go to the bathroom!
