On Friday January 10, was Jack's birthday. One of the presents he got was a egg. It looked like a lizard egg, but it also looked different. When the egg hatched, he didn't think it was a lizard at all! He named it Sparky and was forced to feed it meat because it wouldn't eat lizard food or plants. Sparky grew to big way to fast. Before Jack knew it,it had grown bigger than his dad. As it grew, it looked more and more like a dragon.
Sparky growing was good for him, but bad for Jack. For example, he had no place to put that would be away from the window. Sparky needed to be away from any place outside because no one else belived in dragons. He just couldn't think of anything. Then he got a great idea...
