camp summer part 5

Welcome to camp summer ruthie just returned back to camp summer she was greeted by all the campers except Angie and Cynthia. Shirley spoke to Mary and cubby the two camp counselors about Cynthia and Angie. Cynthia and Angie are both in Kim’s infirmary for another week recovering from the flu bug; the campers all received their flu vaccines and pneumonia vaccines so now onto part 6. Cubby asks Mary if she’s going to be a camp counselor at camp Halloween? Mary replied yes she looked at ruthie and ruthie replied no I wouldn’t be a jr. camp counselor at camp Halloween.
Mary told cubby that a new jr. camp counselor has already been selected for camp Halloween she wants to be anonymous cubby said Mary smiling at her.
Cubby, mary, and Darlene figured Cynthia and angie had suffered enough punishment by their step dad so they didn’t tack on anymore punishments for Cynthia and angie hoping that Cynthia and angie would be on their best behavior when they are recovered from the flu bug. Cubby rang nurse Kim’s door and nurse Kim let cubby in and said angie is ready to return back to her bunk but Cynthia has to stay one more night in the infirmary cubby said nurse Kim smiling at cubby and angie. Angie thanked ms Kim and hugged Cynthia and said I’ll pop in with either cubby or mary tomorrow morning sis and see how you are coming along sweetie said angie smiling at Cynthia. When angie and cubby left the infirmary angie said wait cubby I need to talk to you in private about me and my my sister’s prank played on ruthie we really didn’t mean to hurt her cubby said angie, but cubby said tell ruthie you and Cynthia are sorry for what you did to her not me said cubby looking sternly at angie. Angie was escorted to the camp counselors unit and cubby said Angie has something to say to ruthie in private so Mary and I will be outside until you are finished Angie said cubby. So mary and cubby checked the other cabins while angie sat next door to ruthie and gave her a special envelope that Cynthia addressed to her she opened the envelope and read the apology letter Cynthia wrote to ruthie about giving her a black eye and then angie said ruthie Cynthia and I are very sorry our practical joke on you hurt you real badly we promise never to do that to you again said angie hugging ruthie and she asked ruthie if she and Cynthia could be her friends at camp again. Ruthie said you are both forgiven by me and I am willing to give you and Cynthia another chance to become my friends but this is your last chance to be my friend said ruthie to angie so don’t blow it said ruthie to angie. We won’t blow your friendship with you ruthie said Angie smiling. Reverend Eric Camden was greeted by camp counselor mary and asked how ruthie was doing and mary took ruthie’s father into the counselors unit and ruthie said to mary that Cynthia and angie apologized for giving me a black eye and causing physical harm to me said ruthie smiling at angie mary and her husband.
Angie asked camp counselor Mary if there was anymore camp punishments she had to do for hurting ruthie. Mary said angie you and Cynthia are free from any more punishments as long as you promise never to play another prank or stunt on a camper or a counselor ever again said mary smiling at angie and said angie you are excused you may return back to the cabin where Shirley is waiting for you said mary smiling at angie. Reverend Eric Camden sat down next to ruthie and said that was nice of angie coming forward and apologizing to you about what she did to you and Cynthia’s apology letter she wrote to you but ruthie said Cynthia and angie got off too easily from the camp counselors. Ruthie’s dad said ruthie angie and Cynthia were severely horsewhipped from their step dad and had to spend over 31/2 weeks in the infirmary please forgive them and let them back into your heart and trust camp counselor mary she is a great camp counselor here you are learning great things from her ruthie said her father to ruthie. Mary asked reverend Eric Camden to lead them into prayers before dinner was served so all the campers took their seats and waited for the reverend to give his sermon to the campers. Before the sermon began there was a loud knock on the door and Mary answered the door it was the whole Camden family that entered into the dining room and sat down next to ruthie. Ruthie introduced her family members to everyone even the camp counselors. They said hi to everyone and Simon whispered into ruthie’s ear I’m glad you have revived from eye surgery how are you feeling ruthie with that new eye asked Simon outloud. I am just fine family said ruthie smiling at the whole Camden family and camp counselor mary said before dinner we are going to have a sermon delivered by Eric Camden so please take your seats so we can begin the sermon before dinner. Nobody tested Mary’s instruction they sat in their seats with their hands folded into their laps and mary and mary said reverend Camden they are ready for you sermon they are all ears so you may come out and share your sermon with us said mary sitting next to ruthie and cubby. Reverend Camden announced this sermon will be different from the sermon’s I give on 7th heaven it is called our road to heaven so the reverend said lets bow our heads in prayer and say a prayer outloud together said the reverend and the campers said amen and Eric said amen to the campers and passed out communion to all the campers and counselors to unite them in god. Then after Eric gave communion the food was served and Eric said lets bow our heads in a prayer to god for this wonderful meal we are apart to have so they all said a silent prayer and looked up at the reverend and the reverend said may god be with you and now we can eat our meal now. God blesses you Eric and your family said the campers. Eric joined the rest off the Camden family for dinner. So they had dinner ate desserts sang songs around the campfire and tucked all the campers into their bunk beds and said goodnight my little children and then mary showed the Camden their bunk on their camp site until tomorrow afternoon. The cabin had another joining cabin and Simon says Lucy this is extremely heavenly around here I am glad you and ruthie had experienced this as camp counselor jr. aides said Simon smiling at Lucy. Matt said ruthie you’ve learned a lot of wonderful things from Mary your camp counselor boss here said Matt looking at ruthie at his side. Mary and ruthie said goodnight to the Camden family. Eric said wait mary I want to talk to you please ruthie you may go back to your cabin sweetie said mary I’ll be fine ruthie said mary. Ruthie smiled at mary and turned on her flashlight and Matt said I’ll escort ruthie back to the counselors tent to prevent anymore accidents from happening said Matt smiling at mary. So Matt and ruthie went back to the camp counselors unit and Eric took Mary’s hand and said I’m glad ruthie and Lucy got great experiences as junior camp counselors here thanks for protecting our baby ruthie while she’ was in your care and you showed rythie a valuable lesson about forgiving Cynthia and angie for that harmful prank they did on ruthie thanks for being a great example to ruthie mary said Eric. Lucy said excuse me Mary what’s for breakfast tomorrow? Mary said it will be campers choice for breakfast and lunch tomorrow so any specialized diets please drop off at the lodge here tomorrow morning we are taking special requests since tomorrow will be our last day here and then we will be heading for camp Halloween after tomorrow passes said mary the bus will be picking us up after 2pm the day after tomorrow. We should arrive there by 5pm for dinner time since the jr. camp counselor is headed there tonight to get things ready for all of you said mary smiling as she said good night to the Camden family and mary checked the other bunks and she returned back to the counselors unit where she said h ruthie your whole family has been settled into their cabin here for tomorrow late afternoon how is your new eye coming along sweetie? Ruthie said Mary my eye is fine but you let Angie and Cynthia off too easy with their punishments said ruthie to Mary. Mary said ruthie angie and Cynthia hopefully learned a lesson the hard way from their step dad that gave them slashing on their belt on their bear rearends and the apology they gave you was just enough of a punishment we have to learn to forgive angie and Cynthia for this prank they played on you and be there for them said mary smiling at ruthie and Matt. Matt thanked Mary for being a great camp counselor to his little baby sister named ruthie. Mary said goodnight Matt sees you and the rest of your family tomorrow morning Matt said ruthie and Mary waving bye to Matt. Everybody fell asleep. The end
