camp smore's by mary

welcome back to camp smore's where mary is the camp counselor and this is a story about the previous campers attending this new camp.

mary and the campers are in the art lodge preparing cards and gifts for mother's day. mary and cubby and ellisa, sussie made molds of hand prints out of clay, darlene's group made mothers day cards, shirley, kattie did a collage on mother's day gifts by cutting pictures out of the magazines and gluing them on construction paper. marykate and anna traced copies of each of their partners and painted the traced persons for their mother day present. mickie carie, heidi, aslhey were not sure of the project they wanted to do for mother's day. clara said heidi lets make paper flower boutiques out of tissue for our mothers and asked mickie, carrie, and ashley if they would join them in making tissue paper flowers so they all made tissue paper flowers together. kevin knocked at the door and mary answered the door and said hi kevin and kevin said here's two more angelic campers for you mary their names are lynda and carmel they are adopted sisters. carmel was black and since it was mainly all white campers at this camp carmel would get teased by some of the campers where ashley said campers look at that big hersery bar person named carmel. carmel disliked ashley and she would approach ashley face to face and said ashley you are white trash just because i do not have the same color skin you do doesn't mean i like to be called names. ashley called carmel a nigger at the lodge room where carmel went over to ashley and gave her a bloody nose, and two shiners and belted ashley in the stomach where ashley started bawling and cubby said carmel that's enough take your seat please. carmel sat down and mary heard the crying in the eating room and said i can't leave you campers for a minute by yourselves since i hear someone crying and this is suppose to be a nice loving camper family down here whoever did this to ashley has until noon time to come forward and tell me who did this to ashley if noone confesses i am going to have cop kevin and roxanne come out and investigate every camper here said mary lecturing the campers on their inappropiate behavior. carmel said cubby if you tattle on me i'll break every bone in your body said carmel talking to cubby. darlene said carmel leave cubby alone please. the campers were dismissed but cubby, darlene, ellisa, and sussie waited until carmel was out of sight and sat down next to mary and said please don't rat us out for telling you who did that to ahley it was carmel she's been threatening to break my bones in my body said cubby crying and mary said shh cubby it'll be fine i have a call into cop kevin and roxanne to come out and investigate some of the campers said mary smiling at cubby and her camp mates. mary escorted cubby's group back to their unit safely and then mary greeted kevin and roxanne at the driveway and roxanne said are there any new campers i have to investigate for this incident. mary said try carmel she's black and apparently she's been causing havoc among the white campers here said mary smiling at the two officers who just smiled back at her and the two officers went to lynda and carmel's tent and investigated carmel and cubby walked into lynda's unit and said take carmel away she's the one that's been causing havoc around here said cubby and carmel charged after cubby but before reaching cubby kevin got her handcuffed and loaded her in his car and hauled her off to prison and ashley said goodbye nigger and mary heard the comment that ashley made and said ashley if you continue this name calling i am going to call your father up here and talk about your behavior up at camp here please no more name calling ashley said mary talking to her sternly. they finally went to bed except for cubby she was having horrible nightmares about carmel escaping jail and coming back to break every single bone in her body where cubby was screaming and crying and ellisa ran to get the camp counselor mary saying cubby is having a nightmare she needs you please follow me said ellisa smiling at mary. mary gave ellisa the plate of cookies to carry over to her cabin while mary carried a glass of milk over to cubby's unit. mary entered the unit and gently touched cubby and said cubby honey wake up your having a bad dream and cubby woke up crying and mary sat on the rocking chair after giving cubby some milk and cookies to relax her then mary rocked cubby to sleep after an hr passed cubby fell asleep and mary tucked her back into her bunk and said goodnight campers shh cubby is a sleep. the end!
