The Blessed Weapons

Chapter 1
In the beginning God created the heavens and
the earth.

Genesis 1:1

Elyon decided it was time that he created a new world other than Haven (Haven is the place where Elyon and all his servants live). Once Elyon said, “Begin”, the world of men, elves, dwarfs, and talking animals began. Elyon then created the countries of Guinhad and Tabhan, the king of Guinhad name was Fidget. Fidget called all of the outlaws from the dungeon and banished them to the faraway land of Campiot where demons live. To protect the land from invasion Fidget created the Fidget Fighters, an army sworn to protect the king. The leaders of the Fidget Fighters were: Josiah, the handsome man leader with black hair, Monica, Josiah’s wife who everyone said was the most beautiful in the land, and Mona, Josiah’s second in command not to mention the strongest man in the world. This is the tale of the battles and adventures the Fidget Fighters had: Josiah decided it was time somebody explored the forest of talking animals for the few men or elves that go into the forest tell of some type of great weapons. So Josiah took with him Wasat, a dwarf with a short temper, Johan, an elf who was only fifteen yet third best fighter in the whole army, and Manny an elephant who had been captured when he had strayed to far from the forest. When they reached the forest Manny saw an eagle flying in the sky. Then the eagle swooped down and said
“My name is LaFavor. Come with me to meet the leader of the eagles if you want to make peace with us. Do you?”
“Yes, we do,” said Josiah.
When Josiah and the Fidget Fighters reached Nest of Eagles (that is what the eagles’ gathering place is called) the largest eagle said “Welcome Josiah of the Fidget Fighters, yes I know your name and many other things through the Great Magic.”
“The Great Magic, what is that,” asked a puzzled Johan.
“The Great Magic is the power of Elyon’s son, Manuel,” said the eagle.
“When can we meet him and what he is like,” asked Johan.
“He usually walks through the Garden at the center of the forest at this time of day, the garden is called Adan. To answer your second question, Manuel is completely wonderful. So lets go.”
When they reached the garden they saw a lamb. Johan decided to go pet it, but before he had taken one step the lamb turned into a man and the man said “Welcome those who seek the blessed weapons but will not find them till their tests are over. My name is Manuel; you do not have to tell me yours for I already know. But you must hurry back to your city, Fort Elyon, once your tests are over for an evil greater than you can imagine will attack it.”
All of a sudden two glowing creatures came out of nowhere and one of them said
“My name is Mihal and this is my partner Garil. We shall take you to your tests.”
While they were saying this Manuel had disappeared. So Wasat said “Looks like Manuel isn’t so great after all I mean he just leaves us with these two psychos.”
“Hush, do not say such evil things,” said Josiah.
Then the two glowing warriors motioned for the group to follow them. When they reached a certain place the warrior named Garil said “the first test is to see if you are worthy for one of the gifts. Choose you’re youngest to come with me.”
Johan came forward trembling. When they reached a cave Johan dared to ask a question and said “What do I have to do?”
“You must defeat one of the only demons in this forest who lives in that cave. His name is Deceiver,” said Mihal.
All of a sudden they heard a deep cackling inside the cave, then they heard a voice say “What, the Nagels actually come with a victim this time.”
“Deceiver, won’t you ever learn that we bring not victims but searchers for Manuel who will be tested,” said Garil.
Then Johan did something so daring, stupid, and courageous that he did not believe it himself. What he did was that he said something to Deceiver. Here is what he said “Come out and face me you lying pig,”
Now Johan may have been a Fidget Fighter (and one of the best fighters in training) but this was his first mission so he was practically trembling in his boots. He wondered how he would do on his first battle in a field mission especially since it was a demon he was going to fight.
While he was thinking this the demon jumped out of the hole with his sword raised. Johan quickly brought up his own two long knives to block the blow. Johan noticed that the demon was ugly, snakelike, and downright smelly. Then Johan jumped and did a flip in the air and came down with his one of his knives right on the demon’s head. The demon laughed and said “Demons do not die easily.” Then Deceiver cut Johan and tried to stab the shoulder but Johan moved quickly so that when Deceiver lunged the demon fell, Johan then walked up and stabbed him. Deceiver had gone to the lake of fire where everything evil shall go once they are dead.
Johan then turned to Garil and said “Where is the gift?”
Mihal appeared from nowhere with a box. He then handed the box to Johan, who quickly opened it. Inside was a bow with silk string.
“With this weapon you can kill a demon with one shot, not to mention you will not miss when you shoot from it,” said Garil, “It is the bow of love. The bow of love is empowered with greatness, love, mercy, and kindness of Elyon. It is the greatest weapon of them all.”
Johan heard a voice behind him say “Welcome, Johan.”
Johan quickly turned around to Manuel. When Johan had tried to walk up to the lamb and the lamb turned into Manuel he had been over three yards away; but now that Manuel was only a foot away he knew that he would love this man till he died.
