ON MY FIRST SLEEPOVER
It was 5 o’ clock. I was with my friends Jamie and Jacinta, at the mall.
Suddenly I heard a noise that sounded like the ocean.
Jacinta looked over .She noticed the ocean that was across the road, had over flowed and the water was racing into the mall. It was heading straight for us.
When I looked up there, in the roof, was a tree branch..
It was just low enough for me to reach , so I grabbed it.
Jamie and Jacinta got on, then, just before they could pull me up the water washed me out of the mall and onto the beach . Jamie and Jacinta who were now on the roof, were trying to figure out what to do . Jacinta said “, lets’ pray”.
When Jamie and Jacinta finished praying the storm stopped.;
I floated past a house and grabbed the railing . I pulled my self up and , exhausted , I fell asleep.
The next day the flood waters went down and every one was cleaning. It took a long time but finally every thing was clean.
