Your hands wouldn’t always have to be clean
Big brothers wouldn’t be mean.
Mothers wouldn’t scream and yell
If your pants got muddy when you fell
If I were in charge of the world
You would always have time for a nap
And teachers wouldn’t yell if your fingers started to tap
Mondays would never be
And you wouldn’t fall and scrap your knees
If I were in charge of the world
Impossible wouldn’t be a word
And no one would be called a nerd
Soccer would be every day
And green peppers would go away
If I were in charge of the world
Kids whose manners weren’t the best
And didn’t ace every test
Could still be in charge of the world
