With a glint in his eye, Mark turned back to thank Noah. “Thank Y—!“ However, something stopped him. Noah was gone. Nobody was there. There was nothing but the dessert. It ran on for what appeared to be hundreds of miles. They were in the middle of nowhere, alone, without food or water, and very helpless. Father soon realized that the only choice they had was look back down the long and narrow path on which they had come. They both knew that in the heart of Egypt they were wanted men. They were wanted for disturbing the great mummies. Father remarked,” This is something that I’ll never forget in all my remaining days on this earth. If we are able to somehow make it through this—well then what a story it will make.” Once again, their beloved horses… had vanished. They would either take on the long hot steamy road—or die trying!
