Adrial: Part Two

Before the silver sliding door opened, the room was flooded with light. But when a tall, shadowy figure entered the room, everything went black. The figure was Vendral, evil leader of the Kiran, consumed by darkness and driven by greed to control the galaxy.
"How much longer until we reach Protius?" he snarled in a cold voice at a navigation officer.
"Lord Vendral," he muttered, shaking in fear. "It does not appear on our radar..."
"What do mean, you idiot! How could not appear on the radar!" roared Vendral.
"The planet must have some kind of cloaking device!"
"WELL, FIND IT!" cried Vendral. He slashed the officer with his long silver claws across the chest. Bleeding, he fell to the ground.
He did not get up.

I stared. What else could I do? The scanners of our guard patrol's E-Tron starfighters showed that the entire Kiran fleet was headed for Protius.
"What the heck is going on?" I exclaimed into the link. Pilots in different fighters could talk to each other through links built in to their helmets.
"Adrial," came the voice of another pilot. "Are you seeing what I am?"
"If your seeing the Kiran fleet headed in for an all-out assault, yes," I snapped back.
I didn't know how they could have located Protius. The planet had a built in cloaking device so no ship but the ones built on the planet could detect it.
Right now a squad of eight E-Trons were hovering above Protius in space. They were basically the look-outs.
Adrial hated his job.
"We've still got the shields," Adrial said.

Hundreds of E-Trons were sent up into space to help defend the planet. There were starfighters, the larger and bulkier space cruisers, and other non-movable assault space stations. The two species were preparing for battle.
I sat in my E-Tron in the midst of the ships ready to fight.
Soon the Kiran fleet came into view. I knew this would be brutal.
No, brutal is not the word.
Catastrophic.
