My sister, Cassie, and me, Shawna, have a grandam Sandy. Grandma Sandy is also our neighbor. She lives in a old but pretty victorian house. Grandma always teases us that her house is so old, that ghosts live in it with her and grandpa.
Grandma has a lot of work to do a lot of the time, so we don't get to visit the her and her big house very often, but when they did, our cousin Mitchell usually comes too! Mitchell always makes forts out of blankets and chairs for us down in the basement. Grandma saves about everything, so we use a lot of that stuff to put in the fort. Mitchell and me and Cassie also like to play cops and robbers. I'm always the robber and Cassie and Mitchell are the two cops. The two cops always make the robber go in a hot and cold machine (that's something that we made up).
When grandpa comes home from combing or plowing everyone has dinner- but soon it's was back to playing. Sometimes Mitchell and us even play up in the attic. In the attic ther is dress up clothes, plastic dishes, playin cards and even a little bed.
Mitchell and us think that our grandma and grandpa's house is really fun, but there still comes a time when we have to go. Mitchell and us say good-bye. I gave grandma a small kiss, grandma gave me one back. It made a lipstick mark on my face! "Come again sometime!" grandma told me. "Oh, I will!" I said. I waved good-bye.
