Prologue

Evan Percy was ready. He had his suitcase, and his backpack, and his staples (food, water, etc.) Plus more.

But most of all, he was ready in spirit. He knew he would face challenges; near death experiences. Maybe he WOULD die. All for his love of discovery.

Evan knew that he couldn't think. He just had to act. If he had thought logically, he would not be departing for Aucalasia in three hours. He would be safe; studying in the lab or playing golf in the course near his million-dollar home.

Then the time came. Evan Percy got into his helicopter, waving to his wife and Clara and Bailey as he ascended.

Then he flew. Destination: Aucalasia. The never-before-seen continent that he and his fellow scientists had just discovered.
