Far Apart Again

Traveling away without you again
Seeing wonderful things without you again
Missing you from afar again.
You can’t see the tall mountains
You can’t see the vast desert
For you are not here with me.
I am far away from you again
Our only connections are the
Telephone lines and our hearts.
You can’t see the horses running
You can’t see the dog asleep next to me
For you are not with me.
You can’t see my smiling face
You can’t see my sad eyes, missing you
For you are not with me.
We are far away from each other again
But our love connects us together
And I know I will see you again.
