Kati's right! You shouldn't tell people how to write a story. And if everyone thought "long stories bore people," there
would be stories on Kidpub like:
One day I found a rock the end!
Instead of:
I was searching for the Legend Gem. Rumor had it that it had fallen in my neck of the woods this year.
What is the Legend Gem, you ask? Every century, it falls from the sky and lands in a random location. This year, it
landed here.
...and so on. What about great novels like The Hobbit and Harry Potter? THEY'RE long, and THEY obviously haven't
been boring. JK Rowling is richer than the Queen of England!
I didn't think of a title for my story ("Adventure") until after I wrote the first chapter.
My Writing Tutorial doesn't TELL people how to write stories. It HELPS people write stories.
