The day I lost Sunshine

One night when I was eating beef and noodles the phone rang. My Aunt Kathy called. She asked my brother Tim and I if we wanted to go to a Christmas party at the hospital where she worked. We said, "Yes"! I was very excited.

My Aunt Kathy picked us up and we went to the hospital. I took my black and white stuffed Dalmation puppy named Sunshine. She was my favoritest puppy I ever had. I took her everywhere I went.

When we got there I saw all sorts of fun things to do. I made ornaments, sparkling door hangers and pictures of snowmen. After that we got some hot chocolate and sat down at the table. We talked for a long time. Then we drove home.

My brother Tim and I got ready for bed and when I went to get Sunshine she wasn't there. I asked my mom, my dad and my brother if they have seen her but they all said, "no". I looked every where, upstairs, in my bedroom, on the back table even out in the car but I couldn't find Sunshine.

Mom called the hospital. My brother and I had to go to bed. I couldn't go to sleep. I couldn't stop thinking about Sunshine.

The next day my mom and I went to the hospital. We asked everyone if they had seen her but they all said,"no". We asked a nice lady and she said that she would tell security to look for her. My mom and I made flyers. I made my own flyer and I wrote the song "You are My Sunshine", and I drew a picture of Sunshine. No one could find her. I was very, very sad.

A week had passed and my birthdqay came up. I invited a lot of people. I invited my Gramas and Grampas and my friend Cassandra. I had a big chocolate cake. When it was time to open presents I opened all of my presents. Then I opened my last present and I saw a stuffed Dalmation puppy! She looked almost just like Sunshine! I named her Sunny. Now I have a little Dalmation puppy named Sunny.
