Hearts are breaking
tears are falling
4 planes and so many
lives hurt,
loves lost.
And still our flag waves
thousands of deaths
everyone asking, what next?
but though the terrorists tried to make us
a country of all fear and no trust
still our flag waves,
no disaster, no war
no matter how far
they go to bring us down
we have something
they dont possess;
our freedom and strength as our crown,
with loss comes love and pain is followed by hope
And still our flag waves.
For our flag is not a symbol
of conquer and destroy
or goverment control,
or death taking its toll.
Our flag is a symbol of freedom,
our love, shown in
red, white, and blue.
Ole Glory, tried and true.
Still our flag waves.
No matter how the worldly lands
will try to take this flag,
rip it out of our hands,
we have something more
and with this as our core,
still our flag will wave.
We have God on our hearts
and our laws and the pledge.
So when this world's future is on the edge
of disaster,
Our flag will still wave.
