Forget
by Susmi R.

(A/N: Well, I put up a poem. As you can see. But I've written it for sometimes now; though I don't know whether I have posted it here or not... anyways, read on, and if you do, thanks :). I appreciate it. Oh, and leave a comment, please, if you have the time to! :) )

When you’re down and left up apart,
You know the world won’t end,
When you ask ‘why’ but don’t think,
You know the answer is somewhere alive.

But you have to live and forget,
You have to make the decision yourself,
What changed the past doesn’t change the future,
What was left then isn’t left now.

Forget the past and move towards the light,
Forget the memories, the words and the tale,
Forget it all, but keep ahead,
For a single time doesn’t change the rhyme.

The rhyme of the world, the rhyme of our life,
A change in step leads to a single line,
Our behaviour, our demeanour; all are kept,
But not our words, our actions or what we said.

If the world’s over you, you’re already over it,
If it's all been done, there is still something left to do,
For you can’t give it up all like that,
You should know that you’ll survive to reach light.

If the future wants to walk, you should help it,
If you're moving on, the past will already be gone
If the light is on then don’t stop to put it off,
Never think about what happened, think about what’s going to.

Life is moving onwards; life is fast,
It’s like you’re trying to hit the dart,
Life is hard, you will eventually get crushed,
But remember, all you have to do is move ahead and forget…
