I'm a fifteen year old girl whose homeschooled. I like most music (but the Jonas Brothers and Kansas are my absolute favorite bands in the entire world!) and most books. My real name is Nickole (I'm Nickie), but if anyone tries to call me that, I'll... BTW, my email is NJAPavey1@aol.com, if anyone ever wants to talk! Favorite books...hhm. I love the Inheritance Triology. Harry Potter is good, although the only book in the series that I really liked was the first one. The Keys To the Kingdom is good, but sometimes it gets a little confusing. I also like the book series by Obert Skye, which follows a young boy on a journey to the land of Foo. Maximum Ride, you SOAR! (Luv you, too, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Angel, Gazzy, and of course...Total...LOL. And as much as I hate to admit it, I probably like you better than Harry...*gasps* I can't believe I just said--er, typed--that!)
T.V.- now that's any easy one. I'm a fan of Sci-Fi, so if that's not your thing, you won't know what I'm talking about. I love Supernatural, Stargate SG-1, (In case your wondering, this show was based on a movie that starred Kurt Russell) Stargate Atlantis, (the spin-off), and the occasional re-run of JAG, which really isn't Sci-Fi. It may sound like I watch a lot of T.V., but I don't. These shows usually come on late in the evening, or early in the morning, which is pretty much the only free time I have...
Favorite Seasons, Favorite Weather, and Favorite Holiday- Fall is my favorite season. Cloudy and stormy is my favorite weather and my favorite holiday would either be Christmas or Halloween. I love spooky stuff!
I also have a rather unusual and irrational dislike of a certain pop princess (I'm not saying names-you'll figure out) and a ridiculous goal to make friends with anyone I meet. (Hey, I can try, can't I?)
A novel has also been in the works for me- and though it is slow going and hard work- I can't wait for it to be finished!
Now, on to some other important information...
A complete list of random and/or interesting bits about me:
1. I have braces and glasses, though I once tried contacts.
2. My BFF's name is Johnna.
3. I've never had a boyfriend, unless you count one weird week in the eighth grade during which I 'went out' with my friend Ben.
4. I live on a farm in Ohio that has been on our family for over a century.
5. I take piano lessons and voice lessons. (I hate it, but my Mom thinks I have a 'wonderful voice'. I usually roll my eyes when she says that.)
6. I have light brown hair and green eyes, and I'm NOT pretty. LOL.
7. I don't know my dad, but I hope to someday. (I'm a donor kid, so I hope to meet some half-siblings someday as well.)
8. I have a twin sister.
9. God rocks!
10. I'm a Quaker. (NOT the Amish- that's a totally different group. We call our churches 'meeting houses', call each other 'friends' and have silent worship instead of a huge, long sermon. I suggest the movie Friendly Persausion- it shows you a little how Quakers used to be.)
11. I once thought I wanted to be a lawyer, but then one my friends told me a horrible lawyer joke and now I'm not so sure.
12. My favorite radio station is K-LOVE, and I listen to it whenever I can.
13. For some strange reason, I have just recently discovered that I adore the band Kansas- especially the song "Carry On Wayward Son", which was a hit single from the early 70's. (I know, I know. That was like a million years ago. But what can I say? I am not ashamed!)
And to round it all out- though you are all my friends and have unique and outstanding talent- I would like to recognize a few authors for the impact they've had on my writing career: Marie Lynn, Olivia B., Michelle, Obi, Kavalnain, Paige, Kazel, Alexandra, Alec, Redhead (the other Tess), Maryam, Maron, Wesley, my wonderful twin sister Tess (who really doesn't spend a lot of time on here), and many more- thanks guys, for your support! It means a lot to me. And, of course, I can't forget Perry, because without him...well, I woudn't be writing this.
If any of you are still awake, you can leave now. But I recommend seeing a therapist now that you've read this...your head needs to be checked!
