Candle Light;5 Snowboarding, Not in That Much Danger?

I finally couldn't take it anymore, I was too tired to continue, so I made my way to a tree and peeled a giant piece of bark off and used it to stand on. I ran and threw it down in front of me on a patch of ice and jumped on. I leaned backward as I slid down the mountain, I wasn't in much danger; I had been snowboarding before and was a natural. The eagle looked down on me, sqwaked and cocked his head to one side. I was actaully enjoying it.

In fact, the first moment I came to a rock sticking out of the ground, I used it as a ramp and jumped it. I was snowbaording down the mountain at high speeds, dodging boulders, jumping rocks, and trying to snowboard past the eagle. I suddenly came to the cliff where my Father fell and didn't see it. Before I knew it, I was falling to what I feared to be my death. Smack! I was out cold and the last thing I saw was the eagle's shadow hovering above me.

I awoke to a warm sensation all around me. I opened my eyes and it was night. A woman was sitting across from me, stirring a fire. I sat up. "Oh dear me, you're awake. No, don't sit up, lay back down." I did as she told me to and asked, "Who are you? What happened? What's going on?" She relpied, "I am Selinea Harlos. My daughter, Tala was picking the rare flowers only found on this part of the mountain and found you. She came back home and told me and now I'm taking care of you. You hit your head pretty hard, I had to wrap it up."

Now thinking about it, my head was throbbing. "Now you need to get to sleep so when you regain your strength, we can go back to my home and properly care for you." Jus before I went to sleep, I thought I saw blood on the ground seeping by my head. I awoke again, this time it was about noon. I could tell by the sun being directly in the middle of the sky and there weren't any shadows. The woman was putting out the fire and gathering up her things. "Oh, good morning. Are you feeling strong enough to walk a few steps?"

A few steps? We still had about three miles to go before we reached the bottom. Then I spotted the sled with eight dogs side by side, ready to pull it down the mountain. She was talking about walking over to the sled and sitting on the bed of it. "Yeah, I think so." A girl about my age was fixing and fiddling with the reins on the dogs. She seemed to be having trouble. She saw me and said, "Hey, can you help me with these?" Her mother seemed annoyed, "Tala, leave the poor girl alone. She's lucky she's not in a coma.

Tala went back to fiddling with the reins. I sat up, "Those look like they have some wolf in them." Tala replied, obviously proud, "Yes, their great, great, great, great, great you know grandfather was a wolf. Their grandmother was a husky with wolf in her. So they're mostly wolf, but have some husky in them. Only one is all Malamute. That's Rebrir, he's the rusty brown one in the back." We got on the sled and I prepared for the ride of my life.
